Installation

Axis Studio is available for customers who have purchased a Perception Neuron Studio or Perception Neuron 3. In order to operate Axis Studio an active license is required.

Software Installation

Download Axis Studio:

Run the installer to initiate the installation process. Follow the installation prompts and install Axis Studio. We recommend installing the software in the default directory.

Several dialogues will ask for firewall permissions prior to fully installing. Click Yes. Click Finish to complete the installation.

Software Activation

The Axis Studio software currently has two versions: the Online version and the Dongle Version. Please follow the activation instructions based on the version you are using:

1. Online Version Activation

Account Registration:

     

  •   After registration, log in to your account and click the "Register" button.   Click Register button.png
  • Enter your Product ID and click the "Verify" button to activate the product.

Notes:

  1. The Product ID can only be used once. With one Product ID, you can activate the software on one email account. 

  2. The Product ID for PN Studio typically starts with 'U1H' and is printed on the device.PNS product ID.png

  3. The Product ID for PN3 typically starts with 'N3T' and is printed on the warranty card.

Download Software:

  • Once your product is activated, you can download the Axis Studio software directly from "My Account" on the same website.

Login to Software:

  • Open the online version of Axis Studio. Use your registered email and password to log in.

2. Dongle Version Activation

  • For users who purchased the Wibu Dongle after June:
    • You can access the Wibu version of Axis Studio directly by simply plugging the dongle into your computer without any further activation.
  • For users who activated their dongles before the end of April:

    • You can continue using the Wibu Dongle Version of Axis Studio by plugging the dongle into your computer.

    • However, new activations are no longer supported. As a result, advanced features, such as the Timecode function, can no longer be added to the dongle's activation list.

    • If you require an upgrade, you can swich to the online version of Axis Studio for full functionality at no additional cost.

    • If you need an upgrade but prefer to continue using the Wibu Dongle version, please contact us at contact@neuronmocap.com for assistance.
  • For users who purchased the Wibu Dongle Version but did not activate it before the end of April:

    • You can swich to the online version of Axis Studio for full functionality at no additional cost, as the Wibu Dongle activation code can no longer be used after Aprill.
