This article will help you configure our LIVELINK plugin for Perception Neuron. Our Livelink supports all Axis software (Axis Neuron, Axis Neuron Pro, and Axis Studio)

For configuring characters which are using Perception Neuron bone mapping.
Create a new Project in Unreal Engine 4.23-4.24. Once project is created, close the UNREAL editor and create folder in the project directory named "Plugins" folder for our NeuronLiveLink
Launch Axis Studio and enable BVH data streaming. Prepare live streaming data in Axis studio (Playback recorded file or connect device)
Enable Live Link . The Live Link plugin can be enabled by opening the Plugins window (Settings > Plugins), selecting the Animation category and selecting Enabled on the Live Link Plugin.
Open Live Link connection from the Window menu.
Add Axis Neuron Live source and finish configuration. If success you will see Character name from Subject Name list
Creating Skeleton Assets by importing FBX file with Skeleton Mesh. After importing your Skeletal Mesh, the Skeleton asset will be created.
For good performance on your character when applying motion data from Axis, we suggest that the bone hierarchy and bone name from your Skeletal Mesh should be exactly the same as Axis Standard Skeleton name.
Custom Bone Setup
If the bone hierarchy and bone name from your Skeletal Mesh is different from Axis Bone mapping you'll need to take the following steps to configure correctly,
Add a new Blueprint Class
Override GetRemapped Bone Name.
Create an Animation Blueprint Asset from a Skeleton.When creating a new Animation Blueprint, you will be asked to pick a valid Skeleton for it to target.
On the context menu under Create Advanced Asset, click Animation.
In the expanded menu, select the Animation Blueprint option.
4. If you want to, type a new name for the new Animation Blueprint and press Enter.
3.Double-click the Animation Blueprint you created and add one Live Link Pose node to stream in animation data.
4.Set available subject name use the Left Mouse Button, drag from Live Link Pose onto Output Pose and Click compile button.
5.Apply NeuronLiveLinkRenameAsset, Click Compile and you will see your character is driven by streaming data from Axis in Perspective viewport.
6.Blueprints >Open Level Blueprint.
7.Add a Live Link Source Handle Variable and finish those nodes connection as below.
Get Connection String from Live Link page and input it in Create Neuron Live Link Source at runtime.
Now we finish all the setup.
