This quick tutorial will explain what hardware we recommend when setting up FACERIG to receive data from an IP CAMERA. Both Perception Neuron Pro and Perception Neuron V1 and V2 work with Facerig Studio.
To use the IP CAMERA (RUNCAM) with Facerig you will need to use WIFI adapter so that the computer can communicate with the RUNCAM. Of course there are several WIFI adapters you can obtain online, we'll include in this tutorial hardware that we have used. The USB adapter must support 2.4G.
NETGEAR N300 Wi-Fi USB Adapter
Linksys AE2500 N600 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter
We've used a standard 2.4G router for many occasion. If you'll be using the FACERIG + PN in public space, please be aware of signal frequencies that can saturate in the area, in this case we recommend assigning the router to use specific channel (for e.g 11) instead of using auto channel selection.

MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW how to setup Perception Neuron with Facerig.
Action Camera Setup
1) -Connect USB WIFI dongle (Netgear N600) onto your laptop/desktop
-WIFI dongle should work with just the drivers only. No need to install additional software (e.g WIFI manager)
-In the connections dialogue select the designated WIFI connection, in this example the NETGEAR WIFI dongle is assigned Wi-Fi 4. This is where we will want our video stream to communicate.
-Turn on the RUNCAM 2, press and hold for about 3 seconds until led lights up
-To activate RUNCAM 2 WIFI, single press on the WIFI button, you should see and LED next to the button light blink several times indicating that it's in pairing mode.
-From your computer, select the correct WIFI connection that the USB WIFI dongle has been assigned
-Once selected, search for the available SSID’s in your area and select RUNCAM’s wifi SSID, in this case RUNCAM2_b31132 (SSID is unique to each camera)
-Enter the Runcam 2 password 1234567890, this is factory default (we recommend to leave as is)
-Navigate towards the Trackers selection menu
-In the ULSee tracker options change the WEBCAM option to IP Camera
-In the IP Camera URL field type in the following information.
-Click connect button
