Introduction

Axis supports BVH data stream to our Unreal Live Link. In order to stream data to our plugin we have two communicating protocols, TCP or UDP.

Motion Capture Data

All Axis Software include sample files for users to test data with, no hardware required to play motion data. With the applications users have the option to stream real-time data or playback data. 

Axis Neuron/Pro - Single BVH data stream support.

Axis Studio - Users are allowed to stream playback and/or real-time data at the same time

Axis Neuron/Pro

1. Go to File>Settings>Output Format and disable Displacement
2. Go to File>Settings>Broadcasting
   • Enable TCP
   • Enable BVH
   • Select Format as Binary

Axis Studio

With Axis Studio you can now stream single or multiple BVH data streams. If you are streaming both playback and real-time, you will need to assign the data streams to different port numbers. By default BVH - EDIT streams to port 7001 and BVH - CAPTURE streams to port 7003

Real-time

To stream real-time data enable BVH - CAPTURE

Go to Main Menu > Settings > BVH Broadcasting

Playback

To stream recorded data enable BVH - EDIT

Go to Main Menu > Settings > BVH Broadcasting
